Dr. Norton received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine at University Community Hospital. Dr. Norton has special medical interest in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT).
Her philosophy of patient care is to treat patients as she would family and provide them with the best medical care that she can offer. Dr. Norton also believes everyone deserves patience and understanding as well as the same treatment no matter what their background might be. She believes patient care should be a team effort between the physician and patient and she often involves her patients in planning their treatment. Due to her familiarity with non-traditional medicine, she is open-minded when discussing patient care.
Dr. Norton is married with 2 young children. Although she moved to Washington State from Florida, she is originally from Kirkland, WA. She looks forward to spending time with her extended family. In her spare time, Dr. Norton enjoys baking and cooking all types of foods, reading, spending time with her family, Zumba, and yoga.
