MGMA StudyThe Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) has recognized The Vancouver Clinic as a Better Performing Practice for the third consecutive year.

Based on the financial data provided for the 2006 Cost Survey, MGMA recognized The Vancouver Clinic as a better performing practice in the Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups: 2006 Report Based on 2005 Data. Successful medical groups were selected from the 1,258 respondents to the 2006 Cost Survey.

The Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups Report provides benchmarking data on better-performing medical groups and identifies the business practices and behaviors these groups employ to achieve success.  It is a compendium of knowledge and know-how based on real world care. This compendium provides real-life experiences that identify and review data from performance indicators to help practices create a roadmap to effectively lead their practice into the future. These "best practices" are proven services, functions or processes that produce superior outcomes or results that meet or set a new standard.

With this recognition came an invitation to participate in the Successful Medical Group Summit - a best-practice roundtable discussion at the MGMA 2007 Annual Conference.
