    2/10/2010

Ground breaking ceremony to kick off construction in Battle Ground.

The Vancouver Clinic will hold a ground breaking ceremony to kick off construction of its new 48,000-square–foot-facility on February 17th at 12:30 p.m. at 2005 W. Main Street in Battle Ground. The new building will house the Clinic’s current Family Practice, Physical Therapy and Urgent Care departments. In addition to our current practices, we will add Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and Pediatrics, an expanded imaging suite and a lab. Mayor Caraulo will join Dr. Sharon Crowell, Board Chair, Dr. Marcia Sparling, LLC Manager’s Committee Chair and Dr. Eric Doerfler, Family Medicine Department Chair, in initiating The Vancouver Clinic’s expansion in Battle Ground.

With an anticipated completion date for the new building of fall of this year, the Clinic’s operations will continue at its current location while the new building is constructed. Once completed, demolition of the old site will occur.

The building will include two stories with a total of eight modules. Plans for the building will incorporate a number of distinctive architectural features, including a galleria. Each of the eight modules will offer a light-filled reception area just off the Clinic’s central Galleria walkway.

The Vancouver Clinic, Southwest Washington’s largest multi-specialty clinic, currently has offices at 87th Avenue, Battle Ground, Salmon Creek and Columbia Tech Center. Over 200 medical practitioners currently at the Clinic offer services in 27 medical specialties as well as a full range of ancillary and diagnostic services.
