Full Service Phlebotomy Draw Stations at all locations are able to draw all types of patients including children, infants, disabled, and elderly. Collection facilities at all locations are able to collect blood and urine specimens. In most cases for specimens other than blood or urine, patients are given a collection container to collect the specimen at home and bring it back in. Because lab orders are electronic, samples may be collected at any of our four locations.

Most common laboratory tests are tested on-site at our 87th office which allows for fast reporting:

• Same day testing for waived testing is available at all locations
• Send out capabilities to send any test not tested in-house to be sent to reference laboratories
• Can process specimens from Non-Vancouver Clinic providers

Some tests require patients to be fasting (check with provider as to his/her requirements). All patients seen by Vancouver Clinic providers can have their specimens collected within 15 minutes of seeing their provider except at peak hours. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis except for STATs.

Appointments are not necessary. Patients are seen on a first-come basis. Glucose Tolerance Procedures are the only test scheduled and they are done only at the 87th Avenue lab.
